Project Story

As part of my role at Digitas/LBi I was involved in a piece of work for Halifax to explore ideas around redesigning the public website.

The lead UX designer asked me to do a top navigation competitor analysis and a content audit / gap analysis of the Halifax public website.

I reviewed the top navigation and homepages of key banking competitors such as Natwest; HSBC; Barclays; Santander; First Direct, and others. In order to widen the perspective, I included some international competitors, e.g. Bank of America and the Commonwealth.

Findings of both the competitor review and the gap analysis were used as an input for ideation and exploration workshops with designers and business stakeholders.
